Gayà included in WhoScored Best XI for January
The Valencia CF player was Europe's standout left back last month
José Luis Gayà has been included in WhoScored's Best XI for January. The statistics and data website chose the Valencia CF captain as their left back, as the top performer in the position in the last month across the five big European leagues (LaLiga, the Premier League, Serie A, the Bundesliga and Serie A).
Gayà received a rating of 7.3 for his showings in January, giving him a spot in the team alongside other stars of European football.
The Valencia CF representative is joined by Pope (Burnley); Cancelo (Manchester City), Elvedi (Borussia M.Gladbach), Maripán (Mónaco); Messi (FC Barcelona), Kimmich (Bayern Munich), Gündogan (Manchester City), Sancho (Borussia Dortmund); Silva (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Müller (Bayern Munich).
